aw man. i wish you had covered comp for electric guitars as well. i am a prog player and not much djent. but this is helpful anyway

for mixing it doesn´t exactly make a difference if it´s djent or prog or other metal. i generally don´t like using comp on rhythm guitars in the mix. i use it in the tone itself but not in post production.

Hey, this was a rlly helpful video, im trying now to mix for days and i´m going crazy...
i can´t get a clean overdrive sound with the poulin amps(also with POD Farm)
Im a using a Line 6 UX1 Interface, is that reason why i can get a good distortion sound, shall i change my interface ?(what are you using as an interface?)

it´s not because of the interface. you need to tweak with pod farm and the mix a little. i used the pod x3 live before, but now i use the pod hd pro.

If i try to route both the guitars through one Head vst(I use poulin LeGion) it sounds veery bad.Any ideea why?:D
