A short excerpt from Rod Serling's classic story of a boxer forced to retire from the ring, and the punishing blows that his dignity takes as he attempts to cope with his unexpected new life. Jack Palance is "Mountain" McClintock, and Kim Hunter is the unemployment counselor that is having no luck in finding a new career for him.

  • Gotta love how they accidentally get one of the cameras on view in the scene which looks to be a RCA TK-11 shown in view at 0:03, the wonders of live TV! :D Also excellent restoration work, that is great! :D

  • Jack Palance is a legend

  • what a rarity a live video restored look right befor video tape was introduced

  • In interviews Jack Palance always seemed embarrased to be an actor.

  • Looks rare. This 1956 version stars Future Oscar winner Jack Palance. Great performance.
