@beatriboogie Hey, yeah, as a first song for learning real guitar, I wouldn't recommend it, mainly because it uses a very unusual tuning and the 'chords' you use are not real chords so it is not a great beginner song. It is a great song, and it was one of the very first songs I learned to play so if you can give it a shot if you really want to, but I'd suggest a more simpler song that uses standard tuning (EADGBE) rather than Skinny Love.
