about a minute of my windmill...

UPDATE:

Thanks for all the wonderful comments... this was a test to see if I could build one and I think that in thoery and theory alone I did it...

I am in the workings on one that I didn't build in a day...

  • wear can i get a pivet to mount to the pole

  • joe, I used a office chair... took off the seat and remove the feet from the bottom and it made a nice pivet mount...

  • how high is it in feet?

  • try using the airfoil design next time or use that vertical design that never needs a wind flap direction thing

  • @bigkat859 Sorry I was assholish. What really works is just take about a 6' or 8' piece of metal conduit, draw a line down the side of 1/2 of it, drill rivet holes 2" apart. Cut out blades from sheet metal, 4 " wide 32 " long, cut like a trapezoid, then rivet them onto the conduit. Bend the blades to a 30 degree angle. Repeat on the opposite side of the conduit. You can drill a hole in the middle of the conduit to put it on the spindle of your motor instead of a hub. 2 blades work .

  • need to work on the windmill blades,thats my opinion

  • use a fan off of a car and put it on the front watch the wind blow it u may get more power from the unit and less judder m8

  • they work best in a hurracans
