i do this style in some vids and it makes it look fast and it is fairly easy to go fast. but do you try it with a dump pouch? i understand ,being someone who owns and shoots tons of guns, that as a last resort one would do this only if someone was charging you AND YOU DID NOT HAVE TIME TO SAVE THE MAG. but most people want to use the mag again. i did this alot my firearms instructor ripped me a new ass for it.

@ Mountainous I don't know who your firearms instructor is/was, but it sounds like he wasn't really up to speed with modern carbine training. Do some research on Youtube for guys like Kyle Lamb, Larry Vickers, Jason Falla and Magpull dynamics. Those guys have been there and done that and are far better examples than I am. Watch what they do, it's State of the Art in carbine use.

@ Mountainous Dump pouches are for magazines exchanged during tactical reloads, which are done when there is a lesser chance of a threat appearing. You want to save those unfired rounds. They are also used in some military operations where resupply is a problem or during extended combat operations where you may have to reload magazines. In real life, when you are shooting at people who are shooting back...you want to get that gun reloaded FAST. Dump that empty and reload.
