Someone pointed out to me that I have a leak in the radiator. I am trying to fix it myself instead of spending money at a radiator shop. Lesson learned: when they say you have to get the metal really clean, they mean get it REALLY clean lol. If it's not shiny like new it probably wont stick. BTW this is a brass radiator tank and neck.

  • @magna59 Good tip, I have not ran this thing in a long time (over a year) so I dont know how it will hold up. If I do, and it cracks again I will try this tip!

  • If you look at the radiator tube line, it looks like a design problem in the making. So the engine mounts settle a bit, and the radiator gets put back in a 1/16 " over and there's just more tension, that will load up that joint. Re solder it. Look at putting a web on it or even just a couple of copper wires ( 1/16"), to help spread the load.
