  • I just find it really funny that you have all these people on here talking shit...saying that tommy couldn't handle it. In all honest not one of yall have done anything close to what he has accomplished except sit at home and dream about going to college when most yall couldn't even spell college. So before you open your mouths think about what you have done and which it shouldn't take u long...I got your back tommy.

  • Yeah it's sad to see your local legend fall to nothing in the matter of a few weeks.

    I'm from Aransas Pass, Texas.

I'm a Senior this year and it's just so upsetting even hearing his name.

    It wasn't depression, nor anxiety.

It's hard to believe, but the honest truth is Tommy Blake is a pot-head.

Of course the NCAA covers it up with the typical anxiety bullshit, even though that isn't the case at all.

    I wish it upon nobody.

  • tommy blake went from almost being in the nfl to walking the streets of the small town a.p

  • maybe if you had put quotations around the article, that would've been more clear dumbass. you should go back to school and learn punctuation. and if you try and reference how i don't capitalize, it is because of preference, not because of stupidity, like yourself.

  • Ok "Idiot", By the way did I ever say you said "Perceived"? NO, I copied and pasted all that from an article...You are a "dipshit"..go back to school read a book "Jackass"

  • don't call someone an idiot when you aren't even completely right, dumbass. it's been reported he has depression dipshit. he's said himself on ESPN that he has depression. i just found out he also has social anxiety disorder, and i know what it is. and i saw him say on ESPN he got many calls everyday, but i never heard him say a number, which is why i doubted that many. and in the interview, he said he wasn't sure what brought on the illness. by the way, i never said "perceived" jackass.

  • It has been reported that the daily presence of scouts is what drove Blake off that practice field, but Blake believes those calls are what brought about his mental illness. "It started long before camp," he says. "My cell phone rang so much, I couldn't even keep it turned on. I always like to be available to my family, and that was frustrating. I couldn't even get a good night's sleep."

  • Your a IDIOT, He has social anxiety disorder which involves a fear of being judged and can be triggered by actual or perceived scrutiny by others. There was nothing "perceived" about the constant barrage of phone calls—on some days as many as 300, Blake says—from would-be agents and scouts after Blake decided to stay at TCU for his senior season. It has been reported that the daily presence of scouts is what drove Blake off that football field.

  • no. he did not leave because of scouts calling. he left because he has depression. it is a disorder. it is not something that happens from 250 scouts calling u everyday. and where do u get 250? that would mean each team has about 8 scouts, and each scout for each team is calling him everyday.

  • GM's "Heartless" The guy left TCU because he had 250 scouts calling him everyday, This kid cant handle pressure...Did you see Chris Long, Jake Long, Vernon Gholston leave there teams because I can guarantee you they got just as many calls on a daily basis
