Obama's Historic Speech

Obama's "Historic" speech in Denver, when weighed against the reality of his campaign and the media frenzy which has accompanied it, is an insult to Martin Luther King Jr's "I have a Dream" speech given 45 years ago to the day.

Standing in the shadow of his celebrity Obama failed to connect with middle America. Standing in the shadow of his choice of a 36 year Senator, Obama has failed to deliver "Change." Standing in the shadow of his refusal to endorse Off-Shore Drilling his promise of Independence from foreign oil falls flat. Standing in the shadow of his ignoring the obvious benefits of Nuclear Power, Obama's claim to be Green fades to Grey.

All that's left is the color of his skin, the exact trait which martin Luther King Jr. "dreamed" would not be used to judge an American, certainly not a President.

Empty, hollow and false.

That's not History that's Hypocrisy!

Barack Obama made a speech addressing race because people like you tried to make the connection Reverend White = Barack Obama. Your video was a response to the speech, therefore your entire premise was regarding the Reverend White.

Obama opposed the Iraq War when it was popular while he was running for Senate and he still won.

If the Surge has succeeded, why are we still there? and why hasn't the country of Iraq started building their own government back up by themselves?
