Haley 8 years old and her mom live in Mackenzie BC Canada and go together to donate hair

Thanks for the comments everyone. Haley has stated " I want to do it again" and is well on her way to growing her hair to donate once again. Myself on the other hand I believe this was the last time for me as" Locks for Love" would not want a donation of grey..lol

I am glad that my daughter has inspired others as she inspires me everyday:)

When i was younger, i had LONG hair and i wanted to have short hair like my auntie's so my mom said she would cut my hair, then we braided the hair she cut off and put my favorite little colored rubber bands at the ends of each braid, and we donated it to locks of love it made me feel proud when i knew that they made wigs for kids who had cancer, and when i got a letter saying thank you , it was my favorite thing ever! eventually i lost the letter, but that's something i will never forget.
