A second uke video in one night?!?! Told you BNL has me inspired. So it's another BNL inspired song, and it's also the start of my Christmas/holiday songs! I figured it was the perfect transition for the videos I'll start posting over the newt few weeks.

Anyway, this is a fun combo that BNL did with Sarah McLachlan. I sing like none of these, and for that, I apologize. But I hope you enjoy the video nonetheless, with the promise that more (and better) vids are to come!

Barenaked Ladies - God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen/We Three Kings

Chords, for the kindly person that asked:

F C Dm A

God Rest Ye - Second Verse:

The "Ooh" bridge between the two songs is a C chord

We Three Kings - First Verse:

We Three Kings - Second Verse:

End like the intro - alternating between Dm and A

  • cool! realy nice!!! can you tell the chords?

  • @derhawkde Thanks for the kind words!

I updated the video info to include the chords I used. I may have added an extra C chord in here and there for effect, but you can feel free to play around with that.

The biggest thing to figure out is the timing of the chords. The progressions move more quickly with the God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen portion, and then stretch out for We Three Kings. Keep listening (I'd suggest using the original BNL version) and you should be able to pick it up.
