  • Definitely gonna need to hook up that PCV to the air intake or a catch can or you can say bye bye to that engine. Blow by is huge on 7m-gte's or 7m's in general and the pcv system is extremely important. Did the engine blow already? It would only take a few months to blow it without the pcv system hooked correctly. I know from experience.

  • @a32938 Well I Know From Experience that YOU are Stupid and Don't Understand what the PCV does

  • Looks great. I'm in the process of doing the same to my 85 4runner. Have you had any problems running your fuel line so close to the turbo? Also why did you move the ps pump to the other side? Sask eh? I'm from MB!

  • @JJBToyotaSupra i never had a problem with the fuel lines being where they are... i mounted a ps pump off a sunfire where the ac compressor use to be becuase to run the size of rad and the postion of the outlets and the routing of the intercooler pipes(not on the truck in the vid obviously as this is just before the first time i drove it)

  • Awesome truck mate. What negative write ups the dickheads leave is none of your business as your truck has cred.Keep the 65 dream alive matey.

  • I'm not trying to down on your rock crawler. I've always wanted to do this swap. Actually my goal eventually is a 1990 Toyota Truck and drop a standard supra 7m-ge while maintaining the transaxle for 4x4 power. haha talk to u later bro.

  • On all engines the crankcase pressure is very high because of the combustion gases that leak past the piston rings into the crankcase. This is fuel vapor that pollutes the oil. So that vapor needs to evacuated asap before bearing damage occurs. The vapors are sucked out of the crankcase via intake pressure. If that intake pressure isn't present the "fuel vapor" builds up in the crankcase. Causing continuous main bearing damage and premature engine failure. I've seen it 100 times.

  • @NAPAuniversalJoints Primarily sir, backup you comment of saying that I was stupid, with a mistake I have made so I will know. Positive Crankcase Ventilation. I've rebuilt about 10 7M-GE, 7M-GTE, 1JZ-GTE, and a 2JZ-GE and I know all about these Toyota Engines. If your interested, I could provide you the Toyota Technical Engineering articles so you can understand how the engine was engineered and designed. Then you will understand that you did in fact make a mistake sir.

  • a supra crawler. so sweet

  • I love this swap. awesome engine in an awesome truck.
