4:26 - 5:03 time signature 7/4 (this part is the same as the beginning)

Apparently using just one unusual meter is not enough - they had to use two. NEED MORE MUSIC LIKE THIS

(Now, where was I...?) On top of that, this song is quite possibly the most emotionally-packed final battle theme I've heard in a long while. When I first heard it, I literally had to choke back tears. It sounds desperate and even somewhat hopeless, as if it's speaking for the nature of the battle: a final struggle to determine the fate of a dying planet, already charred by alien weapons and nearly wiped clean of life.

Chris, Dan: hats off to you both. You guys rock incredibly hard.

I can think of no better way to musically represent a climactic battle between a heavily-armed alien in a massive armor suit about to give the order to reduce Earth to a galactic stain with giant laz0rs and the only shotgun-toting human in all creation with the chance to change his mind. (Grr...Stupid character limit. I want to add more to my review, but now I need to make a second reply because it's too long. I'll be right back...)
