I was reunited with my birth mother, in late August of 2009. I was after finding out that she's been living in the Netherlands for over 30 years. After her telling her husband who is actually from Leiden himself, he encouraged her to search for me. My birth mother is Canadian by birth, and her husband was so excitedly telling his friends he has a stepdaughter in Canada :D I miss Leiden so much.

@MrProcrastinator100. My birth mum and I got on very well, after all :-) She was only 18 years of age when she had me, and her own mum (Abuela) made her give me up. She did say sorry, and she is very happy to know that I went to a good and loving home.
