I saw Loudon Wainwright sing this live in 1972 in the student union Cardiff. He was a young man then but sang it with great sincerity and intensity. Jack has managed to recreate this son well and I'm sure Loudon would approve. I hope he will cover more of Loudons earlier work
Love the guitar work in this version...it's amazing...I like LW's vocals better though.

@stickysappy his hands were shaking cos it's vibrato on guitar and creates that shimmering effect :)
