@thegame546444 Hospital settings make birth harder for most women as there's bright lights, medical equipment, strangers etc. Women are taught to hide their bodily functions their whole life because it's "gross" so when it's time to give birth in hospital they cant relax and get into the mindframe to give birth and it causes complications. At home, birth can occur with less complications. Dont call it selfish, having a baby is not a medical emergency. Women arent obligated to go to hospital.
