A pioneer in the field of using the Sitar in authentic Jazz, Christian, Gospel, Rock and other World Music forms for more than three decades, Sanjeeb Sircar has successfully managed to maintain the high standards of his Indian Classical Sitar while trying to evolve new meaningful creative expressions using other forms of music.
He has a music career of more than thirty three years during which he has performed and taught music at many places in India and also performed in Europe and the USA.
He also plays a number of different styles of music including Christian, being a Christian, Jazz, Indo -Jazz - Rock, Fusion, and instruments including the Guitar, Piano, Bass and Tabla.
He also studied Western Classical Music: Piano, Guitar, Organ and Choir from his school days and played a lot of Rock, Pop and some Jazz music with bands earlier. Later after coming to know Jesus more personally he loves to play Christian Music.
He has passed Fifth Grade in Piano of the Trinity Collage of Music, London, England. and has played with many fine musicians from India and other countries.
