i know it's xgl/compiz. i was just wondering if that's a plugin that lets you change the background. mine is plain and black, with "novell" on the top/bottom face of the cube. also that last bouncing icons, is that gdesklets?

You can change the images for top,bottom and, skydome in the cube plugin. The icon bar is Kiba-Dock
