Introduction to the Communicating Ocean Sciences Courses. There are two versions of the course; one geared toward formal, classroom education and one geared toward informal, free-choice learning environments.

This 2-day course trained instructors to teach the Communicating Ocean Sciences (COS) courses developed by COSEE California.

Discussions facilitated by Craig Strang and Cathrine Halversen, of COSEE California and the Lawrence Hall of Science at UC Berkeley. Hawaii coordinators: Patricia Cooper, Kanesa Duncan Seraphin, Judith Lemus, Clyde Sakamoto, Liz Kumabe, and Ann Coopersmith.

Funded by NSF in a collaborative grant between COSEE CA and the University of Hawaii's School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology (SOEST), Curriculum Research & Development Group (CDRG), Sea Grant College Program, Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology (HIMB) and Maui College.
