Ooops, meant to write below-Monk was a big hit and YOU were one of the main reasons why...Tony was great, of course, but no one else could have played such a likeable and believable Captain that could balance out Monk and his eccentricities, with humor and compassion, mixed with the appropriate gruffness. Ted Levine, you're the man

Ted, we love you. I don't think YOU know how talented you are. In every role you play, you are totally believable & the viewer gets drawn in. Monk was 1 of my favorite shows of ALL time & I'm not alone; from my 17-year-old cheerleading niece 2 my 40-year-old Sheriff nephew, you were loved on Monk and YOU were 1 of the main reasons why. Tony was great, no one else could have played such a likeable, believeable Captain that could balance out Monk & his eccentricities. Thanks 4 your talent.
