In this episode we describe how to prepare drunken chicken. A recipe will appear at the end of the video for both the chicken and roasted garlic mashed potatoes. The zucchini was very good, but the beer batter didn't stick to the vegetable.

  • since the skin is water tight wouldn't it be better to put the "butter mixture" UNDER the skin?

seems the meat would absorb more.

    Just my .02

  • You're right. This is always the logical question when coating chicken skin with anything. However, in this case the skin becomes almost a separate dish, and the juices created a dipping sauce for the tender, moist meat underneath.

  • Mike you say 320 degrees, is that Fahrenheit or Celcius?

  • Fahrenheit. If it were Celcius, that would be really really HOT!
