  • This is from one of my favourite albums of all time. The Further Adventures of Chales Westover. He really deserved more attention for this album.

  • You and powerclouds done good. Del Shannon had so much talent and this LP typifies what he could actually do when he put his mind to it. Thanks for posting a brilliant and different Del to what he is often remembered by.

  • Fantastic song. Never heard it before.

  • Good song. One of his better updated records.

  • I had never heard this until only fairly recently on the Where The Action Is compilation (which is outstanding). One might think the guy who did "Runaway", "Hats Off To Larry" and "Little Town Flirt" to name a few might have been ill-advised to "go psychedelic". Not only did he pull it off quite well, it's damn good. What a talent! One of my very favorite singers ever.

  • Jeez!! What a sound. I hear what might have been an influence for David Byrne. Lord it's suc h a shame that he left us too soon....

  • Definitely should take a second look at the events surrounding his suspicious death. Del played a gig up here in Toronto at the Pink Cadillac just shortly before and Dan Beckon (jockey at Woodbine) Was also found shot in the head with a rifle beside his body -unsolved, as well. Someone came running up to me at work Barn 1 at Woodbine laughing in my face saying Ha your boyfriends dead. I still get a chill - Can somebody help me find the missing piece?

  • anybody get a csny vibe?

  • Not chart material, perhaps, but a good example of the talent that never left Del Shannon after the glory years.

  • Never heard of this or his later music, sounds great!

  • This is great. I have his hits CD and old cassette, but never heard this one and some others on You Tube. I might buy more now.
