  • On the back of the movie case in the description doesn't it say she was 13 years old not 9

  • 0:37 ..... What the HELL???? besides the fact she's not at the right age for the part, this woman doesnt look a thing like coraline!!even I look more like coraline!!! (ok, sorry that was me pitching a fangirl hissy fit. i gues i was really determined to be the first to direct a Corline on broadway (if there's a fullscale broadway play of Nightmare Before Christmas i'm going to cry i_i ))

  • @isolationeitheror Back in the 80's people said the same thing about Gary Numan, which he suffers from asperger's syndrome which basically means he have trouble interacting with people. And again Numan is one of the people i have met and enjoy talking with the guy,he was cool as hell.I would love to sit down with Stephin and pick his brain and see what he is all about.

  • @MidnightinSavannah well i trust that you know what you're talking about being obviously older than i am but he seems horribly pretentious, bitter and angry. I was speaking about this interview specifically where he cuts down this young man so hatefully. If he was so damn irritated he shouldn't have done the interview at all....anyway i hope you respond to this and maybe we can come to a complete agreement.

  • @isolationeitheror I met him after one of his shows a few years ago.I was nervous as hell (after all,he is my favorite artist) and when he walked out the door he smiled and shook my hand.We talked for a few minutes,it had to be the most exciting time of my life.So no you are wrong,if you want to meet an asshole.Go work for a place that has alot of concert venues,i did back thru the 80's and trust Stephin Merrit is no asshole compare to some of the people i met.

  • this depresses the fuck out of me. stephen merrit is a disappointing asshole............

I honestly don't think you believe that, otherwise it would imply that you have yet to watch the movie. There's a deeper meaning than just childish entertainment. The book had a certain element that drew in the reader, but the movie added more. It opened up a whole world of curiosity and follows the genuine interest of adventure and exploration that we all harbor. If you couldn't see that then I do believe you went into it with the wrong mindset.

  • @Mashuga31 the book is a masterpiece. an original and inspired piece of art. the film is a watered down, child friendly version. I can't believe Neil Gaiman approved of it.

  • @TheBohemianTenor

no shit sherlock, but it also makes the movie appear to be boring, you know since the movie is kind of based after the book? Jeez man give me some credit.

  • @Mashuga31 you do realise it was a book first right. might want to read that before you protect your precious movie.
