no offense but you really accomplished nothing within 40+ minutes. i had 3 lvl 18 pokemon and a badge(almost 2) within the first 30 minutes.

you hav to trade kadabra to evolve it into alakazam. There is an everstone in granite cave.

i'm not sure, but i don't think i've ever seen an everstone in the game.

btw, you wouldn't happen to know what level kadabra evolves, would you?

i dont know why then. the only possibility is that your marshstomp was holding an everstone... thats weird i did it in pearl the othere day to make my gabite lvl 48 and it evoved into garchomp

ah. i was wondering because i used one to make my marshstomp level 36, and it didn't evolve until level 37

if they reach their proper level yes. (Like if combusken reaches lvl 36 by rare candy, it will evolve)

yeah. btw, can rare candy evolve species of pokemon?

If you want to beat the game with higher leveled pokemon (without Ev's) as soon as you get pokeballs, catch 5 Zigzagoons. They will occasionally pickup Rare Candies and other useful items. (It works)
