Rick Derringer offers up a tribute to Stevie Ray at the Dallas International Guitar Festival on 4/17/09. With the inimitable Charlie Torres on bass, Derringer is a fixture at the Dallas show. This day the rains washed out about half of the performance schedule, but they certainly didn't dampen Charlie's spirit. See ya next year Charlie!

That is probably a Warrior Guitar brand. Most likely.

dropped it down to Eb too. Looks like he's playin a PRS, 3 pickup, w/whammy? heavy strings like Stevie? Remember who his audience is too, convention goers.. hey, nice bends with that or what ever you are jammin on Rick. Thanks for posting this clydeman.

Good job Derringer on the song! For the comment down below... with the sorry at the end... loosen up, he is not Steve Ray Vaughen. He is doing a tribute song. Steve's sound is usually turned up a bit more higher than the rest of the band to project the albums sound. I give Derringer respect for learning the song and completing it. I think he did a pretty damn good job!

Charlie wasn't the bassist in Singapore.. Rick did The Crazy Elephant twice, one with local musicians backing him up, which is probably who Blarsky saw.
