*Original* Prayer wall for Obama: Post your prayer brick

This is my sincere prayer to God for Obama, America and the world.

I have many fears that many might share and I want to lay them to rest by building a prayer wall that should have 1 million bricks in four years.

It does not matter race, your religion, democrat, republican, American, Armenian ... by Obama becoming a president the world has said, "Let's move on!"

Lay a brick by leaving your prayer - name optional. I just left my first and middle name.

Heavenly Father, I pray that you can use one of your children who has proclaimed without shame that your son died for his sins.

I pray he can spread your love and bring America and the world back into your embrace.

Heavenly Father, our children have lost their way, leaders have failed to fully do Your works unlike their forefathers.

I pray that this world that has been hurting can finally begin to heal through the power he has been given.

I pray that those who want to do harm to him, will not see him as an individual man

But as a strong representation that America and the world wants to forgive the past and move on through him.

Father people believe in him because he set a standard as a substantial son, brother
Husband, father, countryman

and they believe he can lead America to be the same way.

Father, I pray he will do right by his wife, children

and right by America and he'll remember you always.

Father, I know he will make many mistakes in the infancy of his presidency.

but I pray we will ride this out with him as he will work under Your guidance and we have nothing to fear.

Father, please forgive us all of our past
and allow the resentments that separate us to finally melt.

Lastly, I thank you for letting me witness this exciting time in the history of man.
I cant wait to see what you and Obama have in store next!

This is the prayer the Associated Press published this year.

It was taken from the Western Wall minutes after he walked away.

Lord,

Protect my family and me. Forgive me my sins and help me guard against pride and despair. Give me the wisdom to do what is right and just. And make me an instrument of your will.

I'm glad you posted this prayer. I agree in it.I did not vote for him.I did not think he would help protect unborn babies or Israel(so many false accusations and murder attacks at them)But I love President Obama and I pray every day for his protection and blessing
