I think Kylie and Madonna have both publicly stated the respect they have for each other. Kylie has mentioned thousands of times the huge influence Madonna has been on her career and image reinvention. I don't think there is a competition between either of them. They both have sold so many songs across 3 decades I don't think either of them really care. Kylie is Aussie and Madonna is American, trust me - 2 different things. They are different LOL

I saw Ms. Minogue perform this live at the Hollywood Bowl and I thought it was one of the show's highlights--very anti-Hollywood and psychological in feel. And she was brilliant performing this number. I just wish there was a better video without the background chatter.

I love Madonna's music but this whole comparing them is so pointless, other than the fact they both sing pop they have nothing else really in common.
