Mudvayne - Dull Boy - Bass Cover Video

Dull Boy by Mudvayne, Bass Cover. I've seen plenty of good and bad Mudvayne bass covers on YouTube. I'll throw mine into the mix... I don't play a Warwick bass (unfortunately) but i'm curious to see what you think - leave me a comment. This is my cover of Mudvayne's song "Dull Boy" from their 2008 album "The New Game", Song #8 on the album. Difficulty Rating is 9 (out of 10). Tuning is low to high (G C G C F). There's a quick tuning guide at the beginning for all you fellow bassists out there.

almostagainagain--- I'll post IMN soon (I happen to know quite a few songs on the Lost and Found album), It's not too difficult to play - I think what makes it so challenging is that not many ppl realize that it's actually played in GCGCF and not Drop C tuning, and Martinie actually plays a bit on the low G string from that song. For me, one of the most challenging songs from Martinie is "Choices" from this album - but i just about have it down.

You missed a lot of stuff man, disregarding the fact that you didn't slap at all your also off on the fingering and rhythm for the majority of song

you need to break from just the fingering style. he throws in some weird tapping stuff, and a few pop and slaps where you just played normal. it really adds a lot to the song, and you should try it that way, but it was still a really good cover. thank you.

Gotta say, I was disappointed to see that you didn't slap in any of the slapping parts or strum in any of the strumming parts. Your tone is really good though and I couldn't hear any real mistakes (though the recording quality isn't exactly the best). Overall man, decent job
