@Highcore69 Hello! Noise level as "low power" is because I am using only 7.2 V for feeding a 775 size motor, there is little voltage, but decent enough to move through the woods to my step and consuming half of batteries, thus saving me having to charge batteries in pairs and without the hassle of having to carry the same capacity.
Now I use 2 550 80t motors to move, it consumes less but still is somewhat slower, you may later change the engine for a slightly quicker but always using v. 7.2

Why does it sound like it has no power?
I ride him slowly, in pieces, so not the money I spent, I reckon that something less than the original at the time, but I built it to my liking. cars on ebay you have to assemble from time to time, called "roller" if you do not have much money at once, is a good option to have it ... even little by little! You can take pieces that you had from other monsters, like I did.
Greetings!

Hello! The comion is very resistant to water and mud, but like everything is this life, nothing is forever ... after wet, it is necessary to grease the bearings, which although they have a rubber stamp, this is spent on the use and comes dirt. The transmission is also recommended to reduce noise more than anything, since they are plastic and metal and grind. The engine is also advisable to clean and lubricate. All this with WD40 or some sort of like a spray oil.

how do you set up the EVX-2 To Run on 8.4V

@dacooter Hello!
The ESC has 2 connectors for using two batteries, one has a label and not the other. It's easy, just connect the positive and the negative of the connector is not labeled, and you're ready to run on a single battery to 8.4 V with the internal BEC, or 16.8 if you remove the internal BEC servo feed with external power supply.
On youtube there is a video that explains everything about the ESC's Summit, but is in Spanish, but perhaps will be helpful.
Greetings!

@txokrider Hello.
Alright, so the non BEC side i plug into it's self pretty much. like a loop around..
I Think i have it figured out.
Thank you for your response. are you running two 8.4 in parallel? if so how long does it last?
I have done the De-Walt Mod and it is much faster but the battery life is much worse. this will allow me to have fun in the woods and still easily go faster when i feel like setting it in serial.
Have a Great Day!

@dacooter Hello! I have not tested with 8.4 v Summit, although I think will be a little faster and powerful, but do not have batteries of 8.4 volts.
My Summit now has 2 motors 80t Titan Atlas, and even move while the car is too slow.
Before I did not have a lot of batteries to power the car and use two batteries in series has the problem that may not have the same charge and therefore the autonomy is reduced considerably.
So I go to a single battery.
I've never tried using it in parallel.
Thanx!
