This is just the vampire books I recommend. Enjoy. If you have other books that I haven't mentioned, just comment the titles (:

  • have you ever heard of an author called H.P Lovecraft? not so much an vampire story author but his Cthulhu mythos series is amazing.

  • @onett128

I have, but I never had the pleasure of reading his work. I do have the Necronomicon, though, which he often talks about in his stories, at least that's what I've been told.

  • You should have also mentioned the Anita Blake books. By my knowledge, they are also very popular vampire-themed books. (all 19 of them :P )

Though after the...if I remember correctly, the ninth book, the sex starts kicking in XD

Though, in my book, I would count Anita as some form of a Marry Sue, but she is the complete opposite of Bella in every way. She's more of an action hero than a damsel in distress.

  • @FreakxWannaxBe I only reviewed books that were in my collection and those that I was thinking of reading. I didn't want to talk about books that I knew nothing about.

  • I could never read the historian. For me, its too long, and boring. I get about halfway through and never get any farther.

  • i like vampire academy. it sounds increadibly corny and bad but its like the awesomest modern vampire book ever!!!!

  • @TheBrutalReport indeed.

i am currently reading "shadow over innsmouth" as my interest was sparked from hearing about his work from cliff burton and james hetfield's interests and the game "call of cthulhu dark corners of the earth"

  • Oh well you said it was horrible so I was interested in what you had to say.

The Demonata is a book by Darren Shan about demons werewolfs and magic, oh my. Its really gory and cool.

  • No i havent. And I would make a review on it, but there's nothing much to say other than it didnt follow the book.

  • Thats a shame.

You should do a review on it. Have you read Demonata?
