Treating someone differently based on culture or handicap does not necessarily equal treating them differently based on race. Take care to phrase yourself a little more carefully when mentioning those little things. :3

As for the Basterds, I don't recall them promising much of anything beyond just posting videos, regardless of consistency. And why hold in higher regard? Only difference from any other gamer is they share their ramblings while playing.

@blackdragon227 You HAVE to treat poeple differently based opon what they do, how they speak, what they have done, and what culture their from. Do you treat a mentally challeneged person with the same responsibilities as a not mentally challenged person? So we should hold an Lper to a higher regard. If they can't deliver on what they promise, then they should just stop lying or stop Lping. Being human doesn't mean that they are average joes. Every person, is unique.

As for the Basterds, they post the LP vids for the enjoyment of others. If your enjoyment is impaired in any fashion due to any inconsistency with posting, or any other silly reason, that is no fault of their own. They are average joes, like you and me, and may do whatever whenever, it is not your place to oppose this.

Just because they CAN emote like normal people doesn't mean we should hold the same standard to them as we should to others. Should we treat a black man like a white man? No. Should we treat a LPer like a viewer? No.

What I'm sure they expect is for people to remember that they're just regular people. And as such, they are prone to whims and will act upon them when they arise. Sometimes said whims are short-lived, other times they are few and far between. Just because there's a long pause between vids doesn't mean it will never happen, and even if it doesn't, enjoy what they did and look forward to what will come. Sporting an attitude won't help anything.
