It would be so easy to make a better video than this, but Royston? why would anyone want to?

Were these comments really necessary? This is YouTube not the BBC and we were just messing around and decided to make a video about the town we grew up in. I dont mind you criticising our production quality and yes Royston is a dump but most of the people I've encountered here are brilliant and exceptional, your "Get a life" statement is crass and misjudged. I don't want to start an argument with you as that would just descend into a pointless and protracted insult match.

I apologise profusely if I caused any offence. In my defence I would say that I lived and went to school in Bassingbourn when I was younger and Royston was my nearest Town and I loved it. Though I now live in Manchester I have family in Shepreth and whilst visiting at Christmas time I went into Royston to do some shopping and it was sad to see all the empty shops in Angel Pavement. So yes I certainly realised that the video was a pisstake no mistake.

It's not that difficult at all to get a life as I have one thank you, one which doesn't give me the time to spend hours at the computer, all alone, leaving leaving pointless negative comments. I wish I had that kind of time on my hands, I really do, but unfortunately people like me.

Twoplanx, do you realise that this video is (for want of a better word) a pisstake? There's really no need to insult the production of it, as obviously it's intended to be a just for laughs, amateur recording.

Can you explain to me why you dislike Royston? I've visited a few times and although it's not the largest/most bustling/shop-filled town in the world, it's certainly not the worst, and to be honest I prefer it to my own hometown.

I think you should reconsider who needs to 'Get a life!'
