dude you should check out the green science channels technique. i have used string and lamp oil for years and im here to say your tech or mine dont hold a candle to his. it will make you rethink the process for sure. it did me.

Вот цыган 8)) Учись салабон. Берешь нитку капроновую, ведро с холодной водой. Наматываешь на бутылку где хочешь сделать разрез. Поджигаешь нить крутишь бутылку минуты 2 и потом резко в воду. Вот и все 8)) мучается lol

@sambasabrosa yeah carbide might be a little rough. it is a diamond cutting disk. There is a link to the type in my blog post about this at the link under the video
I got the cheap knock off disk used in this video at harbor freight.
