I'm more impressed with Eddie Vedder every time he pulls off something like this -- he's one of the most versatile guys in rock today. Ever hear him sing 'Love, Reign O'er Me'? The man is brilliant!
-
Well actually this is no cover, cause Neil Finn, who is a part of crowded house, is on stage with some other artists like eddie. but it's still a cool & rare performance. :-)

Doesn't matter if he can harmonize, he a freaki genius with his own voice, look up how ,any cd's he's sold, how many really famous bands want him to come on with them, is your karaoke that good?
-
love Crowded House! i agree vedder is not a singer. i do better at karaoke. and i suck. some people get famous just because.
-
Maaaan, I can be silent no longer! VEDDER CANNOT SING! Go practice some scales and learn how to harmonize grunge boy!
-
I really love this song and Eddie sings it beautifully..

It's Eddie Vedder you crankpot. Listen to the voice, Vedder all the way.
-
this is the 7 worlds collide concert...if you look you will see Neil Finn on the Keyboards..its not Pearl Jam
-
is he geting paid to do that?
-
Exactly. Vedder also did a very commendable cover (with Neil Finn on backup vocals no less) of the BEST Split Enz song ever , "Take A Walk." Vedder knows the great stuff when he hears it.

Yeah, this is Eddie Vedder singing alright, but Pearl Jam is not the band behind him. It's a lineup Neil Finn put together for some shows in Auckland several years back.
