people resort to protesting because all of the above. they have been ignored and it seems there's no other way to go about it than to take a stand.even tho it doesnt really do much, it does more than writing a letter.

@lkrux Maybe. I just think that these people might have had more effect protesting in a different way than just standing there and yelling.
People in control don't really take notice until there is a HUGE response. Or violence.

@punkraver16 because there are not enough people protesting. There are more people in control"government" than people who protest at any given time. whoever has more wins automatically, or else it would be a civil war. maybe 2012 there will be another..im tired of dealing with cops who think they run the world.

These cops had orders. Orders to contain a group of people protesting. Thats what they are doing. I don't see them pepper spraying and beating everyone.
Regardless of how right the cause is, this protest isn't doing shit.
