Brings back memories of when my wife, son and I lived in Lauderdale Lakes in 1977-78. We live near Ogden, Utah and miss the warm winters of South Florida. My son was born at the Ft. Lauderdale Hospital in 1978, and now has a Masters degree. He taught school in Miami but hated living there, so he moved to Utah...but hates the snowy winters. I loved the Lauderdale Lakes area, but the humidity in summer was brutal. Thanks for sharing and for the memories.
