The Lehigh Varsity 8's headed down to DC on September 27th to race their season opener in the nation's capital. The double is Coach Meltzer and Coach Julian's first attempt at competitive sculling. The Varsity Men charge down next coxed by Jack Muskett and manned by Chris Daniels, Matt Wahler, Andrew Woodward, Bryce Hurst, Andrew Bartynski, Jack Levendoski, Eric Harper and Spencer Gundry. The first crew of ladies was coxed to a 2nd place finish behind Georgetown by Kelly Sprague. The second crew of ladies was coxed to a gold medal win by Whitney Levine. Both women's races were manned by Anna Kobayashi, Kate Auletta, Jackie Ogden, Jen Lance, Adrianna Abreu, Ravenna Wilkins, Ainsley Timmel and Anna Gonsiorowski.
