I think tripadvisor should have a site to review guests.... what about the ones that smoke in the rooms in a non smoking hotel, walk around half naked, crap on the carpet (yes, some wedding guests do this) and get thrown out of the hotel for being drunk and aggressive? I saw a fight between 2 male guests once and I remember 4 policemen had to remove a drunk who refused to leave his room.

@SuperSolemate - a lot of guests do not bother to contact reception if there is an issue after all they could solve the problem, or give them an upgrade etc, but no, they are often the last people to find out whether guests even had a problem! If they don't like the hotel then why do they stay?

do not forget that TripAdvisor is paid by advertisers, it is not real manuals TripAdvisor provides, if you give a negative review it will not be admitted

Tripadvisors editorial policy regarding posting or not posting travelers reviews is capricious at best.I have written good solid reviews within all the criteria described on their website and still NO REVIEWS posted.I can only wonder what agenda Tripadvisor has beyond charging Hotels for advertising and cherry picking reviews for Hotels that pay more for advertising..just tell us " Sorry your review will NOT BE POSTED due to our making more money off this other hotel right now.
