I ended up getting the ninja 250 and the Yamaha fz6r

don't worry you'll pass the written...i read through the book and passed it the first time. I'm not taking the MSF course until the summer though and that's when I'll be buying a motorcycle. Can't ride it now anyway...snow! lol

I hope so. I decided to wait to take the MSF right before I get the bike also. But I am waiting to take the written part till I take the MSF.

In Alabama you don't have to take a riding portion of the test, but they recommend taking the MSF course.
