i was living on the first floor getting ready for bed, when my girlfriend noticed dense smoke seeping through the flootboards. dense smoke was billowing from the stairwell into the halls, after someone pulled the alarm, i followed the smoke and i saw the fire started on some machinery(water heater?) in the basement, after i emptied an extinguisher on it, it kept re ignighting, i went around the building as quickly as possible to find another extinguisher, but none were to be found, another was located on the second floor, i emptied the second extinguisher on the reignited fire with no success, by the time the fire engines showed up, the basement fire was out of control.

  • The authorities don't have an answer about how the fire started. However, the owner, Eric Kretschman, a republican politician in Montgomery County, PA has tried many ways to get rid of those tenants. Many people suspect that it was a strategy of the owner to get rid of those tenants who were struggled in court and to claim money from the insurance company.

  • Eric Kretschman(aka the douche) bought this property for $4 million, has a $30 million insurance policy on this building assessed at $9 million, hmmmmm this guy should be arrested for embezzlement, further more they were sued by the city for the 3145 property for $365k with interest, for UNPAID WATER BILLS, they cant even pay their own utilities, because they are pocketing the rent money and letting the properties deteriorate... shameless.

  • Wow! Thanks for uploading this. I live nearby and I still can't believe this happened.

  • i lived where the flames are erupting from the building...

  • Wow, insured for $30 million? How suspicious. Plus, that's serious insurance fraud.
