TheStation is Doomed

TheStation is a YouTube channel that rocketed to the most-subscribed almost instantly in recent weeks. Before you watch this or read further, comment about what you think of it! WHAT DO YOU THINK? I'm really curious... I've read a lot of mixed comments.

Okay- I think some of TheStation's videos are hysterical, and I love some of the peeps in it. LisaNova, ShayCarl, DaveDays, ShaneDawsonTV, Kassemg, even Sxephil when he's not rolling his eyes at me. I know some of the acting is difficult for some, but I like the excitement, the writing and the creators.

But I'm playfully introducing a future scenario (and there's some truth to this) that might kill thestation. How do these guys share revenue that comes from the channel either through YouTube ads or sponsors? I think money will create feuds that ultimately undermine TheStation sadly. Money aside, YouTube collab channels are tough to maintain (5awesomegals, gays, guys, etc) when you're spending most of your time on your own channel (and your non YouTube life if indeed you have one). :)

I think the station is just a platform to showcase new people, those people make money and then pay the station a cut that's my theory.
