I am nearly halfway through the book and I am finding it surprisingly emotional. I have smoked for 16 years and I am only 30! I really hope this works and I get to the euphoria stage and have my final cigarette. I never realized before that all smoking does is top-up the nicotine in your system to make you feel like a non-smoker (for about 5 minutes) before you start feeling like crap again. There really is no benefit from smoking!
how did u get on? u read the book 3 times so im presuming u still smoke? i read half twice and gave up the book instead! im shitting it but im gonna book the london clinic soon. shittin it that il fail. 250 euro or so. how much is the clinic in ireland i wonder?
ps some country in asia has banned fags, bhutan i think. they also banned tourists, adverts and corporations. heaven, a gov that cares for the peoples wellfare
It's all the brainwashing that it has to be difficult. Everything is difficult, unless it is done right. Trust me- attend the clinic and you will see it's a lot easier that you ever imagined. And in unlikely event that you don't succeed (9 out of 10 do), you will get ALL your money back, which you paid to be freed. Just go for it, the longer you postpone, the angrier you will be at yourself later on.
Have you read the book? I read it thrice but I'm gonna try the London clinic next. In Ireland there are clinics in Cork, Dublin and in the North in Belfast. It looks pricey but about a month's worth of ciggies.
Personally I'd be happy if the government banned it outright. No more cigarettes - anywhere!
