Texas A&M Chemical Engineering Car takes third place in the 2008 AIChE National competition. The cars engine was made from brass tubing and sheet brass. The car was a student project constructed by Michael Landoll, Derek Nelson, Daniel Arnold, Travis Walthall, Matt Johnson, Neil Rodrigues, Thomas Wanja, and Stephen Pope. Randy Marek, Jerry Bradshaw, Victor Ugaz, and Lale Yurttas were essential faculty and staff through the project.
