Taken from a surprise gathering (for Uncle Steve White's 50th Birthday) in which friends & family gathered & paid tribute to the generations of musicians connected to Edgar "Sonny" White & his kids.
"Sweet Home Alabama" is played by a reunited group known as "The Outfit", and it ended up being their 5th final song of the evening. Their wide-breadth of styles (country, rock, disco, bluegrass, etc) set them apart from many bands in the area. Mike Antrim, one of the group's original lead vocalists, is featured on lead vocal (Jamie White takes over after Mike gives up on the lyrics!). Aunt Alicia White and Cathy Phillips (my mom) provide backing vocals. Uncle Steve White provide lead and rhythm guitars.
