@rabbinero Yes CCHR is sponsored by the Church of Scientology but it's not a part of the church, you read about it at Scienology's website.

@fishonparade I was referring to the video, which, after all, purports to address the question, "What Is CCHR?" Apart from a corner of an L. Ron Hubbard portrait in the background of one shot, it contains no reference to Scientology. I agree that the webpage is pretty clear about the relationship.

@rabbinero What do you mean it's cagey about its ties? If you go on their webpage is says right in the About Us section that it was founded by the Church.

For a group devoted to transparency and accountability, it's ironic that the word "Scientology" isn't mentioned once. Wouldn't it be in the interest of honesty and credibility to mention that CCHR is an arm of the Church of Scientology? I can't think of another charity that is so cagey about its ties to a religious group.
