Man who got 9 year old pregnant pleads guilty to rape

There is a new development today in the disturbing case of the 37-year-old Fremont County man who was accused of raping a 10-year-old girl, who later gave birth.

Guadalupe Gutierrez-Juarez pleaded guilty Tuesday afternoon to one charge of rape of his girlfriend's daughter.

Two felony counts of rape have been dropped in exchange for the guilty plea.

He had been awaiting a trial on September 23rd, but will now await his fate once he is sentenced by a judge.

The girl's mother, Isabel Chasarez pleaded guilty last month to felony injury to a child for not getting her daughter the prenatal care she needed. She may be deported back to Mexico. It is still unclear to what will happen to the 10-year-old and her baby girl.

@verniemartinez92 , No matter what, torture is wrong. It's unspeakably evil for you to even suggest that we implement torture on a nationwide scale. Sexual predators do need to be kept away from society in jails, but torture is a crime against humanity in every single case. And by being gung-ho in favor of widespread torture, you are no different than a Nazi.

@ccoraxfan Prove to me God exists. The idea of God is a tool. That tool allows men to do things they would have otherwise never been able to do. If a man stood before you and said "I have made a list of rules that everyone must follow." The first thought in your mind would have been "Who the fuck are you to tell me what to do?"

But if he said those laws came from God, you'd be more inclined to follow those rules, wouldn't you. Those who disagree will be burned at the stake.

@misstique08 I know full well what the "age of consent" is. It is a legal concept and a legal fiction, and as such is limited to legal context only. Look up the word consent in the dictionary to find out what it means in the normal context, which is the context I use here.
