Day three of the trial of Lemaricus Davidson included testimony from his former girlfriend, Daphne Sutton and some of her close friends. Defense asked if each had an addiction to Oxycontin at the time in an attempt to call their recollection of events into question. However, the prosecution brought in several people from cell phone companies to corroborate their stories as to when Davidson called them (or others). Agents from both the TBI and ATF were called in to testify as well. Davidson is the accused ringleader in the carjacking, torture, rape and slaying of Channon Christian and Chris Newsom in January of 2007. (Courtroom photos by J. Miles Cary/News Sentinel)
