Duck Hunt - Round 100 On Two Ducks Mode

This is from my favorite world record on NES Duck Hunt: Two Ducks mode. Rounds 91-100 ("0") are shown.

Two Ducks mode is by far the most difficult game setting, but I managed to reach Round 100 after a bit of practice (and pattern memorization). Surprisingly, Two Ducks mode doesn't have a kill screen. "Round 0" is simply an extremely slow level. Once you complete it, the game continues on with Level 1, as if you haven't been playing for over an hour. :)

Sorry for the picture quality, but it's the best I could do with my camcorder. I had to capture not only the game screen, but also the light gun and game console. Doing this caused some serious issues with lighting!

And since I've received TONS of comments about it, let me settle this one last time: I understand that it's a little too easy to play this game with the gun this close to the TV, but that's what Twin Galaxies practically requires you to do when recording. I was requried to show the game console, the gun, and the tv set at all times.

Besides, the point of this video is to show what happens when you reach the kill screen. How I got there is not as big of a deal, I admit. :)

Not sure anymore, since it's been so long, but I think it took me just over an hour to get to Round 100.

Dude, 300000 at level 14. How is your score so low? And I won't consider this fair since your so close to the screen.

Accept it or not, this kind of closeness was approved by Twin Galaxies, so that's what I did. The game is plenty hard from this distance anyway!

As for the scoreboard being low, see a couple of comments down...

if your on level 100 how is it that you only end up with like 600,000? i exceed 650,000 points like at level 20

The scoreboard goes back to zero when you get a million points. My actual score on this run was 5 million + the score you see in the video.

@Bballboy98798 All the video says is that he gets to level 99. You pretty much have to be that close to hit the ducks. Unless you have a brand new nes for one it's prone to miss every now and then at long distances.

Making it to level 14 at the longest range the cord can go is a little far. But 2 inches from the screen? That's too close
