  • no real....

  • @64jotaro64

    ?????

  • I gotta tell you, recreating EXACTLY what might happen on the streets and stuff is simply GENIUS! It's not the whole teach how to punch and kick and you're done like in most places.

Thankyou What etc. no-one can simulate the speed and brutality of a street confrontation. We try and do what we can, however there's a point where you have to stop. There would be too many injuries. As I've said before the students have to go work the next day so common sense says a line needs to be drawn.

  • As a kung fu man myself, I just wanted to say, great video and it is good to know that there are traditional martial arts schools that train for fighting, rather than dancing.

    So good job again. :-)

Many thanks, sir.As you will know, Okinawan karate was very heavily influenced by Kung Fu.

Wonderful video. I am IOGKF practiocioner myself, so it is always wonderful to see some solid, okinawan karate put to practice.

  • Very nicely done...excellent training and focus, good energy, and a realistic approach. I am writing an essay (if I ever get it done) on training in traditional arts but making them effective in combat for the contemporary streets...while most were designed for combat, they don't fit today, but that doesn't mean they cannot. Enjoyed it greatly...

  • good old Goju-Ryu never gets old, awsome

Never saw a Goju-Ryu video with english accent, funny

keep it up the Okinawan spirit.

  • What a beautiful energy in this training.

I believe it's very important whatever martial art we practice.

it is varied, physical, and if I remember correctly, there is also a work of breathing in Goju-ryu.

good training karateka, and keep your energy !

  • @fumikomgeri Understandable. Simulating what might happen on the streets is a bit hard to do, but, it's the thought that counts. :) And as for injuries, must be avoided of course, but it's really hard to do so, eventually you get injured, but it's perfectly natural (I'm injured right now to be honest, didn't do well a mae geri and hit my partner on the knee when he tried to avoid it and now my fingers are REALLY sore =/ oh well). Kudos for your way of training once again, keep up the good work.
