Hi friend! My name is Lady, but sometimes people call me Ladybug and
I don't mind. I'm 4 years-old and I guess you could call me a
Shepherd/Lab mix. Don't be afraid by my size - it's true I'm 75 lbs., but I'm very laid back. Naps are my favorite pastime and you can usually find me relaxing on my doggie bed morning, noon, and night.

I enjoy leisurely walks after dinner and I have nice leash manners - I
won't drag you around the block! I get along great with the two other
dogs in the house, and I'm even learning to ignore the cats. I am
perfectly house trained - almost a month in my foster home and not a
single accident - and I know how to use the doggie door to let myself
out when nature calls. My foster parents don't have human kids, but
I've been introduced to a few and we get along just fine.

On a recent trip to the vet, I found out that I have rear hip
dysplasia, but don't worry. A follow-up trip to the doggie
orthopedist gave us the news that my case is mild and I will not need
surgery. I enjoy a glucosamine tablet with my meals, and it makes my
hips feel great! I might not be able to run marathons with you, but
if you're looking for a snugglebug to keep you company, I just might
be your girl.
