@sacrichboy yeah i figure once it feels some constant speed straight driving it will go up. Thats good to know man! if you saw 14-15 from 12.3 i'm at about 13.2 so i might even see 15-16 huh? and yeah i donst accelarate to much maybe upto 3000 rpm tops i've recently only been driving maybe 6 miles straight at a time.
did you notice any increases in mpg? I have a dodge 2002 4.7l V8 and i just installed a cold air intake. Plz and thanks man!

@aaminjoshi91 I only noticed a 2 or 3 mpg increase the main thing that you get is the beast ass sound from the intake. I noticed a little better throttle responce but not much and also some horsepower.

@sacrichboy well 2-3 mpg is what i was hoping for! And yes i do feel some more power and torque not much like you said but enough to notice i think. How long was it before it went up fully? I assume you have the digital meter that tells you your mpg's right? mine does and well yeah did it take 2 weeks before it went up fully? like mines is at 13.2 mpg will it get up to maybe 15.4 after 2 weeks?

@aaminjoshi91 Yeah it took about that long. It all depends on how you drive though. If you are racing stoplight to stoplight then you wont see an increase in mpg. When i put it on i was at about 12.3 now im at about 14-15. It will go up after a while once you have driven a couple of weeks.

@aaminjoshi91 You get 13mpg in that small truck??? That's horrible, I get 18 in my Chevy Avalanche. You must be stuck in 4 wheel drive or something.

@03SilverMustangGT
No. The 4.7 Dakota is just a hog. when I'm in the city I get about 10-12mpg. My truck is only 2WD.
